A practical, hands-on programme covering Lean principles, waste elimination, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement — delivered with AI-assisted exercises for deeper, faster learning.
Is This Course For You?
This programme is designed for two audiences — corporate practitioners and academic learners — both of whom will leave with immediately applicable Lean skills.
What You Will Achieve
By the end of this programme, participants will be able to apply Lean tools and thinking directly in their own workplace or project environment.
Identify and eliminate all eight types of waste (TIMWOODS) in any manufacturing, office, or service process
Create current-state and future-state value stream maps to visualise and improve process flow
Implement 5S and visual management to organise any workplace for safety, efficiency, and quality
Design and implement pull systems using Kanban to eliminate overproduction and reduce inventory
Apply root cause analysis tools including Ishikawa diagrams, 5 Whys, and PDCA to solve real problems
Plan and facilitate a Kaizen improvement event and sustain gains through standard work

Curriculum aligned to the ASQ CSSGB Body of Knowledge — Lean component. ASQ exam taken separately
This programme is aligned with the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) Body of Knowledge, specifically the Lean enterprise and process improvement components. Participants who complete this programme will be well prepared to sit the ASQ CSSGB examination independently. The ASQ examination and certification are arranged directly with ASQ and are not included in the course fee. Visit asq.org for full examination details and eligibility requirements.
Selected exercises in this programme incorporate AI-assisted analytics to accelerate analysis, organise observations, support mapping activities, and strengthen case-study interpretation. This means participants spend less time on manual calculations and more time on what matters — understanding the process, identifying the waste, and making improvement decisions. Participants continue to apply Lean methods and validate all conclusions themselves. This is Lean thinking enhanced by AI, not replaced by it.
